Terms of use

Welcome to the Random Verse Generator. By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. The service

The Random Verse Generator is a free website that displays Bible verses selected at random from a curated library, along with articles and related resources. We may change, improve or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

2. Scripture text

All Scripture quotations are from the King James Version, which is in the public domain in most of the world. You are free to copy, share and reproduce the verse text. Verse image cards you download from the site may be shared for personal, ministry or non-commercial purposes.

3. Site content

The site's design, code, articles, graphics and other original content are owned by Random Verse Generator. You may quote short excerpts of our articles with attribution and a link back. Please do not republish entire articles or copy the site's design without permission.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure.
• Do not use the contact form to send spam, abusive content or unlawful material.
• Do not misrepresent the site or its content as your own.

5. No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". While we take care to quote Scripture accurately, we make no guarantees that the site will be error-free or uninterrupted. Verses are offered for reflection and encouragement and are not a substitute for professional, medical, legal or pastoral advice.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Random Verse Generator is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

7. Third-party services

Some features rely on third parties, such as our hosting provider and the form service that delivers contact messages. Their own terms and policies apply to those services. See our privacy policy for details.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
