Privacy policy

Last updated · October 11, 2026

Your privacy matters to us. The Random Verse Generator is designed to work without accounts, cookies for tracking, or advertising. This policy explains the small amount of information involved in running the site.

Information stored on your device

The verse generator runs entirely in your browser. Verses are selected on your device and are not sent to us. We store a single preference — whether you chose light or dark mode — in your browser's local storage. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Contact form

If you send us a message, the name, email address and message you enter are delivered to us throughWeb3Forms, a form-delivery service. We use this information only to reply to you and do not sell or share it. If you would rather not use the form, you can email us directly.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like most hosting providers, Vercel may process technical information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver pages securely and protect against abuse.

Fonts and third-party content

Our typefaces are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not contact third-party font services. Links to social networks or other websites take you to services with their own privacy policies.

AI and automated access

Our llms.txt file describes how automated systems may use our content. Scripture text is in the public domain; we ask that original articles be attributed with a link back to the source.

Children

The site is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email contact@randomversegenerator.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
