Verses about strength for the weary
Passages for the days when you feel you have nothing left — and a reminder of where renewed strength comes from.

Strength in Scripture is rarely about willpower. More often it is something received, especially when we feel weakest.
Wings as eagles
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31
The progression is striking: soaring, then running, then simply walking. Sometimes faithfulness looks like putting one foot in front of the other.
Strength made perfect in weakness
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9
A refuge
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psalm 46:1
