“Be strong and of a good courage” appears again and again in the books of Moses and Joshua, usually at a threshold — a new land, a new responsibility, a new beginning.
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
